Our maritime students get hands-on experience in our Kongsberg Bridge and Engine Simulation Systems.

Three separate bridges, simulating any of 20 ports across New Zealand and the world, interconnected with an engine simulator.

The bridge calls the engine room to respond to simultaneous issues – practising hard and soft skills in a real-life simulation.

International Maritime Institute of New Zealand, through NMIT, offer a wide range of maritime programmes and short courses; basic, advanced and refresher training.
